Separating emails from WHMCS and WHM

Hi

I have all my emails coming to one email address but there are quite a few emails. For managements sake I need to split in to separate email addresses.

I have looked through WHMCS and I have 1 email address in General Settings and then I have the same address in various WHM areas but unsure what they look after.

Which sections runs what ie tickets, cron jobs, server alerts, attacks on the servers ie lfd etc?

Id like to split into below

1 - ticket emails-----------ticket@

2 - cron jobs--------------cron@

3 - server issues-----------server@

4 - cpanel backup reports--backup@

5 - email alerts------------email.alerts@

Does any one have a definative guide on exactly which address is responsible for each email ?

Thanks in advance

Martyn

  • WHMCS Support Manager

Hi,

The sender of client-facing emails will be the one specified on the General tab.

The sender of admin-facing emails will be the one specified on the Emails tab

The sender of support-related emails will be the one specified in the support department configuration (Setup > Support > Support Departments).

There aren't other options at present.
