Overages being billed since upgrade

We had our system upgraded to 5.2.7 on Monday.

 

Previously we didn't bill for overages, but yesterday invoices were generated and this morning payments were taken - some of them quite large

 

The products all have overage billing unticked, so why did this happen?

Hi,

Apologies for the inconvenience. Between WHMCS 5.0 and 5.1 the overages options were expanded to include a choice of extension rather than forcing MB. As such, the field was changed from simply being 0/1 option to a more advanced choice and an update to the field to empty the option where the field is 0 was missed in the update.

 

To resolve this, please run the following command via the MySQL tab in phpmyadmin:

 

update tblproducts set overagesenabled = '' where overagesenabled = 0;
