Crediting an Account. Problems

Boss

Recommended Posts

When I apply a credit to a clients account through the transactions option, No credit notice is sent to client or myself and there is no way of being able to do it manually.

Second fault:

I manually typed a letter to the client to explain they had a credit and how much.

However, I tried to use the tag: {$client_due_invoices_balance} and it does not display the credit balance as it should after the credit was processed/entered.

Third Error

The instructions are incomplete in this issue of how to apply a credit.

Explaining to put a tick in the "Add as Credit checkbox" is fine but really which box should you then be putting the amount you want to credit "Amount In" or "Amount Out". I assume the Amount In was correct.

QUOTE:

1. Begin by going to Billing > View Transaction List

2. Select the Add Transaction tab at the top of the page

3. Then you can choose the client it relates to (if any), date of the payment, gateway used, enter a description, transaction id (if applicable) and the amount

4. If this is a payment that the client should be allowed to apply to invoices later (ie. a prefunding or payment on account) then you should tick the Add as Credit checkbox which will automatically create the appropriate credit entry for the user

5. Once happy with the settings, click the Add Transaction button to complete the process

Thanks
