wdalessi
Hello, I am a little new to the settings so please excuse me. I have put a logo in the settings fireld for "Logo URL". I have a strange problem. If I go to a specific customers emails, and click on one, the Logo does show in the email copy I see in the WHMCS Admin panel. The Logo does not show in the email received by the customer though. The emails I get also do not contain the Logo. In place of the "Logo" is a small rectangle and depending on which browser used it may have a small "x" in a small box. It differs by browser. If you click on it, it takes you to the main "Index" page for the domain. The "Logo" does for some strange reason show up in the "PDF" Invoice attached to one of the emails ( No Logo in email.). I think it is processed by a different file and that affects it somehow. I am not sure if the problem is the logo size, which directory it is in, or maybe even a combination of both. Can someone please tell me if it needs to be a specific size and format jpg.gif.png, etc. Also does the file need to be in a specific folder ie: the images folder for "Whmcs" or the images folder for the "Domain". Also could this possibly be a permission issue? Thank you in advance for your help.
wdalessi
Hello, As a followup. I moved the logo to whmcs/images folder. I thought that my help, but now the logo does show in the email, but in the preview there are now 2 logo's. one on top of the other. In the email there is a logo, but the small rectangle with a small "x" is still there above it. (The top Logo in preview.) Something is adding this first one separately somehow. Thanks in advance for your help.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted July 17, 2013 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted July 17, 2013 Hi, The logo in the email will be loaded from the Setup > General Settings > Logo URL wheerver you use the following code: <img src="{$company_logo_url}" alt="{$company_name}" border="0" /> This is the in the Mail tab > Global Email Header Content section be default so is added to the top of all email templates when they're sent. The logo for the PDFs will use the logo.png or logo.jpg file located in the /images directory.
