Question about Free Enom Reseller Account

Could this be used as a stand alone? What I mean is could I still sell domain names even if the client decided to order hosting somewhere else?

 

As of right now I have it setup but it looks like they can only order a domain name if they order hosting at the same time. If it can be stand along please explain how.

You can use any domain reseller (including eNom's) as stand-alone with WHMCS. There is no specific setup necessary. Your customer goes to e.g.:

https://[domain.com]/[whmcs-install]/domainchecker.php

not sure if Enom has the same as resellerclub (we use) and that is a way through creating 'A' records you can create a white label area where clients can go and order without even going through your WHMCS.

 

we have a set up with Reseller club as

 

1) An API setup from our WHMCS

2) Supersite (retail) to an 'A' record to one of our domains

3) Pertnersite (reseller) to an 'A' record to one of our domains

 

so anyone can visit site 2 without going through WHMCS and register domains and all our resellers are give an account at site 3 so they can resell domain services as a sub reseller of ours.
