ramystyle
Hi, I just downloaded the latest default template and upgraded whmcs to the latest version. When I try to view the default template, for some reason the body is missing: http://sellwebhost.com/?systpl=default Keep in mind that I did not modify any file inside the default template.. Any idea why? Shouldn't homepage.tpl be loaded there? Thanks.
Alistair
Is homepage.tpl present on your server?
ramystyle
Yes.. It is in the same folder (default)..
Alistair
Have you tried re-downloading a fresh copy of the template folder and re-uploading it? Is the homepage.tpl file the same size as what's in the download from WHMCS.com?
ramystyle
I just did again.. I deleted all the "default" folder, downloaded full version 5.2.4 and uploaded only the DEFAULT folder again.. Same result.. Is there a cache or something I should delete? Strange..
Alistair
I see you've modified the footer.tpl file. Can you try uploading the original header.tpl and footer.tpl files to see if either of those is causing the problem?
ramystyle
Hi, I haven't modified anything.. That's the original footer.tpl ! {if $pagetitle eq $LANG.carttitle}</div>{/if} </div> </div> <div class="footerdivider"> <div class="fill"></div> </div> <div class="whmcscontainer"> <div class="footer"> <div id="copyright">{$LANG.copyright} © {$date_year} {$companyname}. {$LANG.allrightsreserved}.</div> {if $langchange}<div id="languagechooser">{$setlanguage}</div>{/if} <div class="clear"></div> </div> </div> {$footeroutput} </body> </html>
ramystyle
Hi, I might have found why it's not fully loading.. In the Activity Log, I noticed the following error: Smarty Error: unable to read resource: "/home/sellweb/public_html/templates/default/home.tpl" - 30/04/2013 06:56 - System - 119.63.193.194 I browsed to the default template and was unable to find home.tpl. I have "homepage.tpl"... Why is the system trying to access a file that doesn't even exist ? Any clue ? Thanks.
brian!
ok, I've been playing with this for over an hour and haven't come up with any definitive answers... but a number of thoughts... 1. the classic and portal templates don't work properly either - either they aren't fully uploaded or there is an error (possibly being caused by SSL??) - i'd be tempted to disable the SSL address in General Settings to see if there is any difference... 2. it might be an idea to get a free developer license and install the script elsewhere to see if it works properly - well away from your custom theme... 3. as an aside, rename your admin directory and follow the advanced security procedure in the Docs.
WebsiteIntegrations
Hi Do you have custom pages or have you modified the .htaccess file. I ask because when i view your site and substitute 'portal' for default the breadcrumb is showing the whmcs index as the about page.
brian!
wwesn's comment about htaccess is probably a good one as I noticed the about heading as well last night - I seem to recall a post a few weeks ago (when I first bought whmcs) about someone having a totally blank page and that ended up being caused by htaccess and how SSL was being redirected by it... looking there is not a bad idea - and I hope you manage to solve your issues.
WebsiteIntegrations
another question, is your index.php page the index page that came with whmcs?
ramystyle
BINGO !! It was the .htaccess !! I replaced it by a blank file, and it worked Thanks everyone for your responses !
