Can I force Paypal subscribe with recurring discount?

I'm trying to charge a 1-time $1 set-up fee, then 6 months free. I want them to be auto billed $49 from month seven until the end of time.

Setting up the recurring discount is no problem. I also checked the "Hide the one time payment button when a subscription can be created".

If a person doesn't use the coupon code, and they don't get the discount, then they get the Paypal subscribe at checkout like expected. BUT... If they use the coupon code, and get the 6 months recurring discount, they get the pay once screen for $1.00 (setup fee).

It really should show that this is a monthly fee of $49, only the next invoice is due in 6 months instead of next month. Can anybody think of a way to make this work? I don't want them to have to put in their credit card number again after the initial purchase.
