brianr
If I didn't have to dig all over hell's creation (website) to find the link to the Twitter profile... or FB page... I might have been more likely to see it.... .... and then not get really pissed I spent that long trying to find it after I read the un-announcement. To save everyone else: We'd like to thank everyone who joined the beta testing for WHMCS v5.2. We've got some exciting news to release next week so stay tuned! [edit]And to clarify "all over hells creation", any forum page, or the blog page, until I finally found it on the about us page shoved so far under the fold I almost missed the grey-on-grey-looking icons.[/edit] Edited March 6, 2013 by brianr clarifying
bear
Then there are those that have followed WHMCS on Twitter to get important information when they would announce patches and alerts there. Someone else also noticed: http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?69150-Twitter-said-exciting-announcement-next-week! But the info is lacking on what it is.

The twitter feed is the footer of the main whmcs.com page and subpages, as well as a widget inside the software itself that pulls from the twitter feed. Also, it's twitter.com/whmcs, and is also the first result when you google, "twitter whmcs". I will ensure to put a link in the future.

Bubka3
Which promised features are missing? Off the top off my head, I believe auto-update (or any trace of it) was missing. I don't have the beta installed anymore, was disappointed within a couple of looks.
WHMCS Chris
I don't recall an auto-update feature was promised for 5.2, but rather "slated" - which doesn't mean there's a guarantee. I would understand that such an important, and potentially dangerous feature would be developed, and redeveloped, passed off for code review, QA tested, rethought, redesigned, redeveloped multiple times in order to achieve anything that would be worthy for public consumption - even in the simplest of terms.
Y3K-Daniel
The admin area of the beta quite clearly says "will be introducing" and lists stuff like Auto update and two factor authentication.
WHMCS Chris
It also states not every feature will be available during the beta. The intro page was also a placeholder for the beta release itself which will change come release. Your popup window is now corrected.
