Question about importing paypal subscription data

orangewedge3

Question

Hi there,

I've done some research before posting this and I know that you can import existing Paypal Subscriptions into WHMCS. But I have a few specific questions:

1. Some of my current subscriptions (for hosting) are for arbitrary amounts by client, and don't reflect what I would set the standard package prices to be if I installed whmcs. Is there a way to still add these subscriptions so that everything is together in whmcs?

2. If I import these existing subscriptions, is there an automatic way to show all previous payments, so that data will show up in the income overview?

Thanks for your time

Hi,

To answer your questions:

1. If you've given certain users special pricing you'd simply adjust the Recurring Amount under the client's Products/Services tab and fill in the Subscription ID field.

You need to ensure IPNs are enabled on the subscription and they're directed to the /modules/gateways/callback/paypal.php file.

2. You'd need to add them manually under Billing > Transactions List > Add Transactions tab.
