License transfer between sole trader and limited company

Hi folks,

 

I'm wondering if it makes sense for me to purchase a WHMCS license in order to test it out myself before I register a new company in order to launch my hosting service on its own (I'm a web developer). Would I be able to transfer the license to the new company or would I have to discard the old one and purchase a new one?

Thanks for your interest in WHMCS. You can change the name and company on your account at any time via our client area, so there's no problem there.

That's excellent. So I'll be able to change all of the info associated with the license including the URL it's installed on?

Yes and you can reissue your licence to a different URL at any time via our client area.
