bhmedia
For the life of me, I have yet to be able to get automatic credit card capture to work. I'm currently using WHMCS with 2 Checkout. Client's credit card information is entered either manually by myself in WHMCS or they fill it in when making their first recurring payment. Once the card is on file, WHMCS will generate their invoices a few days in advance, but an auto-capture of their credit card is never initiated. I have to manually log into their account and pay -- which defeats the whole automation thing. If I do a manual capture of the cards, using the link on the home page, same thing -- no cards are captured. Am I doing something wrong here? I'm pretty tech savy and this has just thrown me thru a loop. Thanks for any help you can provide, Louie
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted December 24, 2012 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted December 24, 2012 Hi, With a third party payment gateway like 2CheckOut/PayPal etc you cannot charge them at-will, you need to use a merchant gateway to achieve that. Our documentation explains the different types of modules: http://docs.whmcs.com/Payment_Gateways#Supported_Gateway_Modules
