2Checkout recurring billing

So last time I used 2Checkout was in 2007. Back then, you created your recurring product at 2CO, and linked its ID with your billing software (LPanel back then)

I see WHMCS supports recurring billing, but there are no product ID fields to link products together. I read the sparse documentation, and it doesn't really say anything.

How does it work exactly? Do you still need to setup products at 2CO, or does it work like a CC gateway/paypal billing agreements?

Hi,

2Checkout have updated their systems a bit since then, so there's no need to create your products within 2CO's system. Just enter your API details in the payment gateways configuration page within WHMCS and your clients will be able to make recurring payments - very similar to PayPal Subscriptions.

John thanks for clarifying, can you also clear up the following on this topic please?

If the client wants to change their credit card/billing details how do they do that?

Through WHMCS or direct to 2CO?

Where and how would this be done?

If the client wanted to cancel the recurring billing and just pay on invoice again how would that be done?

Is there any way we can see if the recurring billing agreement is still in force? So if the client cancels the agreement for example that we know this.

Appreciate any answers.
