striddy
Why does one client need multiple accounts? One client account can be used to house many products.
WHMCS Customer Service WHMCS Kim Posted November 14, 2012 WHMCS Customer Service Share Posted November 14, 2012 Hi Trihead, WHMCS does not have any options for multiple accounts under the same email address. As Striddy said Why does one client need multiple accounts? One client account can be used to house many products. Is there a reason for the client wanting two separate accounts?
ganewbie
We have clients that have multiple businesses and need them to be all separate when it comes to billing. It will be great if we can have such option. as an idea, like have sub-accounts.
overdrivedesignlabs
We are not there yet, but close to switching away from WHMCS because we can't do this. We have MANY clients who have seperate businesses which legally require a seperate billing name and address, but they have one email and don't want another. +1 for this feature PLEASE.
Kian
We have clients that have multiple businesses and need them to be all separate when it comes to billing. Most of us have clients with multiple business. There's nothing strange in having a client ordering with his personal account, his business account for Company A, his business account for Company B and so on but i find your request absurde. Just imagine how messy would be the login, reset password, logout and email notifications. It's simple! Let's say that i'm your customer ordering by multiple accounts. Here are my emails: mypersonalmail@gmail.com admin@companya.com admin@companyb.com That's it. I (talking as client) can't pretend to manage tens of companies with the same exact email. I can redirect all email addresses to one account but this is a problem of mine and not of my hoster. It seems to me that people with multiple business use multiple accounts on eBay, Amazon, PayPal, Moneybookers (...) so why it should be different just for us? I think that WHMCS will never support this buggy and messy modification and if you are thinking of paying a programer i ask you why should you spend money and waste time to support lazy customers? At least you should be paid by them for this since it's a non-required and non-necessary custom solution.
