Processing pending orders

We have NEW customers set to pending by default to avoid fraud, and we also have a number of products which are not auto provisioned.

 

Every time a new order is made we get an email, but is doesn't say anywhere on that email whether the order is PENDING or not, which means we have to login and check each one.

I have looked on the email template and cannot see any way to add this information, there doesn't seem to be any variable for "order status".

 

Any solution to this ?
