sweeny500
Well i downloaded whmcs and installed ok. Soon realised it was a huge program, too configurable, too complicated which in turn means more room for error. But all that aside, I came up with a problem that i cant seem to find a solution to with online search. All the main pages like cart.php domainchecker.php etc seem to be flawed on-screen. Submit buttons 1 pixel wide with no text value, inputs with no label describing them, empty dropdowns, broken breadcrumb links, the list goes on and on. Using whmcs_v452 I also noticed when i open these php scripts mentioned, they seem encrypted with a ref to ioncube loader. I downloaded this for an easy solution for client admin, but i would be half way now to writing my own php mysql script to handle my needs. Unless i'm doing something seriously wrong, I'm at a loss as to what's going on here. Any advice appreciated.

Any advice appreciated. yes, you installed a wrong version, opening encrypted files you should not touch to customize your whmcs, configurable is sooo easy if you want to automate your business.. the list goes on and on.. If you a soft to make few invoice a suspend hosting, try blesta. If you want to control your datacenter, try hostbillapp If you want a crm, try vtiger.. But If you want ALL of it , and thousand of more features, study docs about whmcs and your business will grow.. Its my opinion based on 10 years of experience. Cheers.
bear
Submit buttons 1 pixel wide with no text value, inputs with no label describing them, empty dropdowns, broken breadcrumb links, the list goes on and on. Using whmcs_v452 That sounds like a missing or invalid language file, and an older version of WHMCS. Why that version and not the latest? At any rate, there was a small bug in the older version where the language file was named with a different case than it was expecting and that caused it to fail. Check that you have all the files uploaded and if so, see if changing "english.txt" in the "lang" folder (or vice versa if it's already capitalized) to "English.txt" fixes things. Should be an uppercase "E", I believe.
