lukewd
My install of WHMCS seems to kick my users out and force them to login again after a very short period of inactivity. How do i go about increasing that?
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted September 21, 2012 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted September 21, 2012 Hi, I believe the session length is a variable you can increase in your server's PHP configuration.
lukewd
That's strange, because we have another PHP app running on the same server (on the same domain in fact), and the sessions last much longer. Is there perhaps a php config file that would be affecting WHMCS exclusively? Also if you could be me in the direction of any config files I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted September 25, 2012 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted September 25, 2012 Hi, There isn't such a file in WHMCS. You could try ticking Setup > General Settings > Security tab > Disable Session IP Check to see if that helps. Or maybe there's a php.ini file in the WHMCS directory causing the session_length to be shorter just for WHMCS?
