Not billing new orders credit cards

WHMCS Version: 5.0.3

PHP Version: 5.3.3

MySQL Version: 5.1.61

When a client places an order using a credit card, the system fails to bill the card. I see nothing in the module logs. I see no errors on the screen, but I do see this message:

===

order confirmation

Thank you for your order. You will receive a confirmation email shortly.

Your Order Number is: 1340252128

If you have any questions about your order, please open a support ticket from your client area and quote your order number.

Attention! Your order has been completed but you have not yet paid for it so it will not be activated.

Click on the link below to go to your invoice to make payment.

Invoice #758946

The "Invoice #758946" is a link to view an invoice.

On the invoice, at the top right, it says "Unpaid" and has a "Pay now" button.

When I click the button, it works! The invoice is paid, and all the WHMCS magic happens.

What do I need to do to make it work the first time without having to deal with the invoice?

Thanks for anything you can tell me,

Char-Lez

Hi,

Please ensure you have selected the "Automatically forward the user to the payment gateway" option under Setup > General Settings > Ordering tab.

It sounds like you have the "Just show the order completed page (no payment redirect)" option selected at the moment - hence no payment.
