Do I need eNom's API Integration or not?

Hello Guys!

 

I am new user trying to adventure into the world of web hosting business and at the same time trying to learn how to use the WHMCS's software properly. So it looks like I will be around here for a while.

 

Pretty much I have my site integrated with WHMCS and WHM, I am just making some last changes.

 

I open a support ticket but I guess the tech support guys are kind of busy since I open the ticket more than 24 hours ago and still waiting, that is why I am here.

Back to business, less wording... I have a free eNom account that WHMCS provided me and I was just wondering how can I tell if it is retail or reseller account? Also, do I need the "API Integration" that eNom offers in order to be able to register or transfer domains through my website?

 

For example: I want my clients to be able to register or transfer their domain names through my site and once I received the payment the approved the order then I want to manually register the domain through my WHMCS software. Is this possible to do without the "API Integration"?

Hi,

In order to use eNom with WHMCS you do need access to eNom's API. All the accounts we provide are reseller accounts and therefore provide this.
