harrip
Wondered if anyone else had encountered the "Invalid Token Error" message and found a solution to it? I have several users responding to support tickets. While I do not get the "Invalid Token Error" the other two team members advise they get it when the click "add response" when responding to a support ticket. It doesn't matter if they take 20 seconds or 20 minutes to add a response, the outcome is the same. The other day a user logged in and responded and clicked the response button in less than 25 seconds - and still had the same outcome. I have increased the "session.gc_maxlifetime" on the server as recommended by WHMS support but still get the same error. Welcome any suggestions. Thank you.
Bubka3
Try to force them to open the admin panel via SSL.
harrip
Yes, we do. SSL is enabled by default.
bigsean
Had this happen on a few occasions as well. Simply clicking 'add response' produces this error at random. This is simply another reason why an auto save feature for ticket responses would be nice, meaning while typing a long reply the system saves the text periodically to avoid losing a lengthy response.

BobC
If you have a fix for this, why do we have to ask for it? Should it not be made available someplace for anyone that needs it? You do not know how many times I have screamed at you folks over that glaring error. After spending a lot of time answering a customer, I lose the reply to an 'invalid token' error message. Any fix for this should be available to all registered WHMCS customers! And, in my case, I am not always in the admin and client area at the same time.
RandallKent
We struggled with the "Invalid Token" error for months and the patches never seemed to fix the issues. We finally stumbled across a resolution. I just did a blog post on it - http://www.randallkent.com/whmcs/whmcs-invalid-token-error-resolved - Hope it helps!
tommyinnn
Same problem for months -- why o why do they not simply post the fix
dgbaker
Same problem but with clients trying to update Credit Card info. The fix noted by RandallKent did NOT fix it unfortunately.
