Support Ticket# 129218

Original Ticket @ 19/08/2012 16:08:

My WHMCS is terminating accounts when it is not enabled. I do not have the box checked under automation settings, and my cron job is set to /cron.php skip_terminations skip_cancelrequests. Also the account is set to billing "free", with "-" or "//" or an actual date in the future as the due date, do not suspend untill 00/00/0000 is set and checked.

Here we are 7 hours later... no reply. How am I to believe in in this company/product if I cant even get a reply in 7 hours. They could have advised to delete the cron so it did not happen in the mean time... to late after spending most of the day dealing with the customer, who is extremely p*ssed off, and the host company getting it "restored" from one of their backup (which costed me $65USD) having to manually restore the entire customized zone file it happened again but with more accounts. The bells, whistles & lights went off in my head delete the cron job. The new accounts 1 set to annual billing with a due date of 09 Sep 2012, 1 set to free billing with a due date of 01 Aug 2015.

Any help would be appreciated.

AJ

Hi,

I'm sorry to see that you didn't allow our support team to investigate the issue in the ticket. But looking at your activity log I can see the account termination occurred after the "Cron Job: Completed" entry. This means none of the stock processes caused the termination, it must have been a third party addon or action hook causing it.
