AmanWills
Crontab is working. However, invoices are not being sent. I did a manual e-mail send then a client got back to me in minutes complaining about late fees and did not know he had an invoice. running latest version. is this related to all the problems people are having with the lattest? nicklfire
Sorry i meant to say your cron job log. do you have access to root? Or are you running a reseller account. If your on a shared or reseller account you will have to ask your host to see if there are any errors of the cron on the server itself. Does not seem like your jobs are completing
AmanWills
I have root on the box. Where would the cron job tasks be located at?
AmanWills
Is there a way to log? I only see mention in /var/log/cron but its just the cron line
richardr35
Just curious, what is the command that you are using to run your cron job? And is your server running Linux?
AmanWills
linux litespeed crontab -u hostmes -e 0 6 * * * php -q /home/hostmes/public_html/billing/admin/cron.php EDIT: can IP white listing in .htaccess without allowing 127.0.0.1 be an issue?
richardr35
Here are the two that I use, without problems as far as I can tell: php -q /home/varus/public_html/admin/cron.php and php -q /home/varus/public_html/crons/domainsync.php <--this one changed with the update, but I am sure that this is for information from the registrar. Did you add /billing/? or is that the directory of your whole install? Someone with more experience will have to answer your question about while listing the local IP?
AmanWills
yea, billing is the directory everything is in but the admin area is ip whitelisted to my external ip so maybe local needs be added? /lost.
