Hi

 

Just a question firstly:

 

I don't want to provide web hosting primarily; I want to provide SEO services and such. Is it possible to use WHMCS for other online services, not web hosting, like web design too, or is it just for web hosting?

 

I want to send invoices with customised descriptions on each one for each client - not set products/services and product/service groups. Is this possible?

Also with GoCardless and also payment providers like WorldPay, can't I just send clients invoices and they pay through email (going through to the payment links on the invoice) or do they have to actually login to the WHMCS client login and do it all there?

Hi,

WHMCS can be used to bill for just about anything. If you wanted a custom product for each client then you'd be best off using the Billable Items option instead of using products: http://docs.whmcs.com/Billable_Items

The disadvantage of that is that you need to manually create the billable item for each client instead of having them place orders using the shopping cart themselves.

 

Clients always need to login to the client area to make payment for the sake of security.
