ENOM SSL Certificate Expiration Notice

Does anyone know how to set up an email that will let SSL Cert clients know that their SSL Certificates with expire in xx days ( like the one we get from enom)? We do not have enom set up to contact our clients directly as all communications come from our WHMCS.

i dont believe there is currently a standard way, i know that the module sends its own emails out. if you need this to happen, which to be fair i think we all do. firstly it should be a feature request, but in the interim you can use an action hook that is used when each cron runs.

 

I know this isnt ideal, but the option is there, you would just simply remove the hook once whmcs works its magic. If you do get this working, i am sure that you could speed the process if you were kind enough to provide the code to whmcs.

You could probably use the email marketer to send an email after 360 days or something.

I have mine setup as a product that is renewable - even through it's not - the problem is you have to manual re-run the create on it.

Ditto on hating the way that WHMCS handles it. Yes, ''technically" you can not renew them, but in practice you just resubmit the same CSR and order another 'new' one. In practice it works very similar to a domain renewal.
