Google Analytics module puts code in wrong place

The Google Analytics module places the code in the footer. This is not where Google wants it now. When you try to verify a site with Webmaster tools, this is the error message shown from Google:

Verification failed for http://www.topwebsnetwork.com/ using the Google Analytics method (10 days ago). The Google Analytics tracking code on your site is in the wrong location. You can verify site ownership only with the asynchronous snippet placed in the <head> section of your home page.

Now, I have moved the {$footeroutput} code from footer.tpl to header.tpl and it now works, but you should change the module to output the code to the header.

Thanks for that!

I was not aware of any issues since I had analytics from the non-whmcs areas of my site. After seeing your post, I went back and looked at analytics. There was no data from any whmcs pages.

Indeedly deedly so..

In the mean time, you can use an action hook to put it there yourself just remember if/when whmcs do fix it, delete tour action hook.
