Welcome email not send

Hello,

In WHMCS setup there is a email template for "Other Product/Service Welcome Email", is it possbile to have it send to my client as soon as they made the payment? I have read the documentation but there's no clear description about how to trigger welcome email (both hosting and other products).

My another question is about "Free Domain", I can set this option to every product/service, and I still need to setup the price table of domains. When I try to order a product (with free domain), there is a dropdown box showing $x dollar for domain/year although there is also a message saying qualify for free domain. I'm wondering if it is possible to not show the domain price to avoid confusion to my client?

Thanks

Thomas

Hi,

The welcome email will be sent when the auto-setup criteria you select under the Module Settings tab are met.

If you're not using one of our supported modules (cPanel, Plesk etc) then you can use Auto Release so the welcome email can still be sent even if there's no module commands to run: http://docs.whmcs.com/Auto_Release

WHMCS won't know the domain is free until both the domain and the product have been added to the shopping cart, at this stage the domain will be displayed as free. But before then it's not possible.
