m8internet
I have been very happy with v4.5.2 and been waiting for v5 to become more stable As a result last week I upgraded to v.5.0.2 There were no issues and orders were still be provisioned and completed after payment However on upgrading from v5.0.2 to v5.0.3 this has stopped and orders now stop at Pending The payment from PayPal completes, but that is where the process ends I have checked the PayPal account and all the correct details are present, no changes have been made API is correct and present in both IPN is active and matches PayPal IPN log shows the latest three transactions, I've never seen such a list before (I searched 3 months and the same three appear) It would appear WHMCS admin is not acknowledging the payment and completing the process (provision to WHM/cPanel) I have therefore checked all the previous settings which completed this, and all appear to be correct If I manually go to Pending Orders, then select the Complete Order the process completes and the provision to WHM/cPanel completes Equally, this mornings cronjob suspended two accounts, and checking WHM these were indeed suspended, which does confirm there is no issue there either Any and all advice on resolving this welcome Edited April 28, 2012 by m8internet
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted April 30, 2012 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted April 30, 2012 Hi, So to confirm the upgrade invoice isn't being marked as paid automatically? The gateway log is always the first place you should check for gateway related issues. You can access that in Billing > Gateway Log. There you will see the exact response coming from the payment gateway's system regarding why the payments are not completing so that should usually tell you what the issue is. We have collected some of the most most common errors and their causes, refer to the appropriate page for your payment gateway: http://docs.whmcs.com/Payment_Gateways If it's a gateway specific error code/message though then you might be best to contact the gateway providers support directly for advice on it.

I am no further forward correcting or solving this issue

m8internet
I am still suffering this issue The PayPal transaction returns and the account is created within WHM/cPanel However that is where the process ends, leaving order as "Complete Pending"
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted May 21, 2012 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted May 21, 2012 Hi, Orders always need to be accepted manually even if all the services/domains are provisioned automatically. This allows you to keep track of new orders received and run any manual checks your business practices dictate. More information can be found at http://docs.whmcs.com/Order_Management
m8internet
I know the orders need to be accepted manually Performing this does not send any emails or complete anything, it only changes the status of the order However the final step is not completing, and that is the issue It used to as I have checked the timestamp of previous emails and all are within 3 minutes, and the last one within 1 minute (sometimes even the same minute) 1 Customer pays by PayPal, WHMCS is notified of this, IPN recieved 2 WHMCS send module create to WHM / cPanel 3 Account is created within WHM and email is sent confirming account created 4 (and this is the step not being completed) Customer receives Welcome / New Account Information email 5 I then update the order from pending to completed
m8internet
Yesterdays orders suffered the same issue However the first from today has processed perfectly; no need to verify the order, it has gone straight to completed Any ideas as to why this would have suddenly resolved itself? Is is possible some incorrect configuration at PayPal IPN has caused this?
