Subdomains with hostgator

Hi im trying to use the subdomain function to offer a free product.

 

I set on other tab my domain, it creates on whm, but in my domain cpanel, sub domains isnt there. FTP works fine but when accesing the page show 404, like subdomains wasnt created.

 

Im hosting with hostgator.

 

After i get this working, is theare a way to auto-upgrade for a real domain name?

Iv managed to get this working.

 

But my question stills.

 

When a client that uses a subdomain, want to change to a domain.com, is there any way to do this?

Hi,

First you'd need to modify the account in WHM and change it to domain.com. Then in WHMCS update the Domain field under the client's Products/Services tab to match.
