stormy
I'm a plain-text email diehard. However, I'm starting to think we've gotten to a point where sending out HTML emails has more pros than cons. I'm curious: What are you people using? (for both WHMCS and your personal emails) Any delivery issues with HTML emails?
othellotech
sending out HTML emails has more pros than cons. There are no pros, only cons Any delivery issues with HTML emails? Yes - they get more frequently marked as spam - if the recipient will even accept them. Lots of webmail applications wont display them, requiring the user to d/load to local and open in a browser. You'll use 30 times the amount of transfer. Corporate mailscanners will hate you.
stormy
I agree with you partially. Everything you say in your would have been my default answer a few years ago, but I'm not sure if all that holds true anymore. My WHCMS still sends almost all emails as plaintext, as well as myself, so I haven't gone to the dark side yet
