How Domain's automation works ?

I am using Paypal and wire transfer as a payment gateway.

 

Mostly people in my country go for wire transfer where I do provide bank details and all.

 

Well I want to keep automation for domain registrations, renewals and transfers.

 

This is what going on in my mind :

A person will signup at whmcs and register a domain name.

He selects Wire transfer.

I receive its notification and I see option in my admin to accept the user and mark invoice as PAID.

Once I marks invoice as PAID manually, automatically it will register that domain name with the Registrar which setup I did, say e.g. enom.

 

If I set my enom's details in Domain registrar of WHMCS, then is it gonna work ?

Yes, that's how it is designed to operate.

 

Be sure to add your server IP to your enom account so that their API will accept commands from your WHMCS installation.

Consider I setup this automation today.

But what will happen to the domain reregistration orders which I accepted where no automated domain registration process exist earlier ?

when you accept the order it will register the domain, providing you have everything set up ok.

Then you need to view the domain in the clients profile, set the registrar to Enom and click the register button. This manually register a domain where you have already accepted the order.

No. You use the "apply payment" option, which will mark it as paid and run any automation required as per your settings on the product ordered and in setup/automation.
