I am looking for a way to make a large "notice" or "alert" on the client homepage on demand. My use of it would be to alert clients as soon as they visit if a server was down (so we don't get 100 tickets on the same thing). I first ran into this issue today - a server crashed for the first time (only been doing this for 11 or so months) and I wanted to get the word out fast that we knew and I was working on it. I updated announcements and network issues pages, and the server status page showed the server was down, but I still got people opening tickets to ask what was up. So any way of making a alert (possibly feeding it off of network issues page but not necessary) would have been great. Thoughts? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
