ulawe
I want to offer the option to use a subdomain to my customers if they are doing a trial run. I own several domains, and i run multiple servers that my products run on. If i am going to use the subdomain option, what DNS changes do i need to make to my domains? Does WHMCS automatically create the dns for the subdomain? I'm confused.
ulawe
Help. I want to give away free subdomains for my free hosting service. However I'm not sure how WHMCS edits the DNS for the subdomains. Does WHMCS automatically create the DNS for the subdomain? I'm very confused.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted November 17, 2011 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted November 17, 2011 Your server control panel takes care of the DNS entries with subdomains just as it does for FQDNs.
ulawe
i'm still confused John, so far what I have been doing is manually setting the A records when someone registers a subdomain from me. I want to automate this process some how, and I do not know where to start. I run multiple cPanels among numerous servers, and each client is put into a random server when they purchase the hosting. How would I point my subdomian TLD nameservers in this kind of setup?
