0 openmind
When it's ready to be released. Absolutely no point in rushing out software that is not ready for public release.

0 openmind
Yea when is this going to be released? When it's ready to be released. Absolutely no point in rushing out software that is not ready for public release. Too many times I have seen software providers cave in to users demanding to know when the next release is out resulting in a bug ridden mess e.g. Modernbill, vBulletin, Helm to name a few. Luckily Matt and the team ignore these demands and release it when it's 100% stable and ready.
0 tommyinnn
Openmind, All I asked was when, you should keep a Openmind Last month you said early Nov.
0 openmind
I said that? Really?? Where exactly? Note I don't work for whmcs, I have no idea when it will be released but these "when is it coming" threads are a waste of time.
0 tommyinnn
It was in the last update under News & Announcements last month. Why does everyone from the UK act like this, all we asked was when, if you didn't know why did you even respond?
0 openmind
Last time I checked this was a public forum which allows opinions. Also I have no idea of what my country of residence has to do with this? Care to elaborate on that?
0 tommyinnn
Absolutely no point in rushing out software Luckily Matt and the team ignore these demands and release it when it's 100% stable and ready. Well, because all we did was ask when, you somehow turned it into us demanding it be released, where did you read that at? We simply asked when the expected release date was. I think it's something in the water that make you all act this way, not your fault.
0 openmind
Get a grip, if you can't post mature comments then step away from your computer. If you bothered to read the announcement it states that it will be released shortly so demanding on a thread for an answer of when it's going to be released it's pointless and a waste of energy... Why not step back from keyboard for a day or so then revisit http://www.whmcs.com and if it states "v5 now available" then guess what, it's been released... 0 tommyinnn
WOW, see what I mean about UK people! Again, all we asked was when, last I heard was early Nov. so I have been putting off updates I need to do in my client area so i could use the new templates. Will it be a couple days, couple weeks, next month? All we asked was when, there were no demands, we just asked when. As you indicated, this is a public forum / message board, isn't that the point of this?
0 openmind
Sigh, I give in, you win. Post away if it makes you feel better bout yourself...
0 WebsiteIntegrations
it will be ready when they are confident that it is ready. Since another update to the beta version was released today that means people are still finding issues. I think they would rather release it right the first time then release it and then have to release 20 patches after the fact (like vbulletin does)
0 bear
The answer is, when it's ready. WHMCS has a history of making sure it works before release, and taking the time to get it as stable as possible before doing so. Since this has degraded from the original question, we will close it.
