One time setup fee for domain registration / transfer

Hi,

We currently sell domain names with a one time registration (set up) fee and a yearly fee. So the first year a client pays a €10 set up fee + €10 for the first year, and just €10 in the years after that. In our migration plan to WHMCS we are investigating all options but can't seem to find this possibility for domains, only for Products/Services. Am I unable to find this option or is this not available in WHMCS? Of course we can combine the prices and make a higher Register fee but we want to keep the costs seperate when registering and also on the invoice.

Hope someone can help us with this.

You can specify a different price for domains registrations and renewals. So you could make the register price € greater than the renewal price.

Maybe it's me who misunderstand, but to me this is a solution danielp do not want

Yes it's true that you can do it that way if you want the system to control you and not you who manage the system. It's just not how I read it.

Setup € 10

First year € 10

Renewal € 10

And if you want to offer free domain so you will not receive payment for setup.

User wsd is correct, that is not how we would like to offer our domain names. We are offering domain names for x euros with a one time setup fee. The price of the domain name is the same every year, so we do not want to market our domains saying the domain is more expensive the first year, since it's not. Besides, we'd like to give discounts to the setup costs and we also have customers who don't pay the setup costs.

Can we code this ourselves?
