mgaccess
Hi, I want to use the WHMCS registration form (register.php) for my contact form but it doesn't send an email or alert me when someone registers. Is there some way to enable notification when a non-customer registers without ordering a product? Thank you.
IPH - Tim
I don't believe an option exists in WHMCS to contact an admin upon client registration. There is an option within WHMCS to have all emails sent via WHMCS BCC'd to an email address. If you use this feature and then have an email rule setup to flag new client area information emails, this could be a possible alternative?
mgaccess
Right, but that is assuming an email is even sent. When someone registers with no product purchase, there are no emails sent to anyone that I can see.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted November 2, 2011 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted November 2, 2011 The "Client Signup Email" is sent to the client, you can copy yourself in on this if you like.
mgaccess
I have the "Client Signup Email" disabled because I don't want it sent out when a new customer orders a product ... because they already receive and order confirmation email AND a product related email. No need for 3rd email to be sent. I only want it sent when a non-customer registers for "more information". Hard to believe there is not a way to do this - {sigh}
mgaccess
I was including the client area details in each product related email which is why I had it disabled, but I guess I will separate them again until I find a workaround. Thank you guys for your replies.
