whmissweet
Using Payflow Pro, Will whmcs create recurring billing profiles that rebill the user each month, or would we have to manually create the billing profile at the payflo gateway? I ask because I just put our first transaction thru Payflow Pro and its showing up as a standard one time sale, not in the recurring billing reports. thanks for any insight.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted October 21, 2011 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted October 21, 2011 Recurring billing profiles aren't created, WHMCS takes care of the recurring logic for you. WHMCS will automatically make a one-time charge to the client's card when the invoice is due.
whmissweet
Thanks so much for clarifying. So I'll need to turn cron on, Ive had it off for the last 8 months , is it ok to just start it now being that it was never on since i started using it? or will my customers get a backlog of automated emails? Im using 4.5.4 and it looks like i can now disable many of the emails now that i couldn't before in earlier versions, is that right? and would it be safe to start up cron now 8 months later? thanks
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted October 24, 2011 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted October 24, 2011 Yes you'll need to configure the automation cron. When it runs for the first time WHMCS will catch up on any billing that's been missed, any due invoices will be generated etc.
