HostinPK
Today, I was replying to a ticket and I received "Invalid Token". What may be the problem?
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted October 20, 2011 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted October 20, 2011 If you spent a long time writing the ticket response it could be quite simply that your PHP session is expiring after loading the page and before submission. It's part of the cross site scripting protection the token checking. You can increase the session length on your server in the PHP config file and see if this rectifies the issue.
charlottezweb
For me, this doesn't seem to be tied to response time. I get it sporadically and sometimes for a one sentence ticket reply. Doesn't seem to be a session expiry -- at least every time.
RandallKent
We struggled with the "Invalid Token" error for months and finally stumbled across a resolution. I just did a blog post on it - http://www.randallkent.com/whmcs/whmcs-invalid-token-error-resolved - Hope it helps!
epretorious
We struggled with the "Invalid Token" error for months and the patches never seemed to fix the issues. We finally stumbled across a resolution. I just did a blog post on it - http://www.randallkent.com/whmcs/whmcs-invalid-token-error-resolved - Hope it helps! I've tried the solutions suggested in your blog post individually and was not successful: I set the session_name value in configuration.php, and I upgraded to WHMCS 5.2.2 but the "Invalid Token" error persists. WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted June 25, 2013 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted June 25, 2013 Hi, There are no tickets in the Support queue anywhere near that old at the moment (in-fact none older than 24 hours at present). If you've been waiting 2 days for a response please let me know the Ticket ID so I can take a look.
