Error Creating Account - Module Create Failed

Hi All,

I was just attemping to create a new account for myself via WHMCS, on my server which is normally no problem.

However I noticed I didn't get my account created e-mail. When I checked my Activity Log I saw the following message....

Module Create Failed - Service ID: 48 - Error: Sorry, a group for that username already exists.

After checking the forum and Wiki... I have tried changing account usernames, etc. changing the status to pending and recreating the account, but keep getting the same error code in the log.

Although I am on a Shared server, I created a username no-one else could have created (Read made-up)

When checking WHM... no account is a similar name in any of my accounts.

Any Suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Thanks John... I determined my issue. Even though I thought I had changed the username... I had NOT saved the page prior to hitting create. So it keep trying to use the same username when I hit create.

After I saved the page after changing the username, THEN hit create to run the module it worked fine.

Thanks!

Even if there are no accounts with this username in your reseller account it's possible it's in use elsewhere on the server.
