genebadd
Hi Everyone, super new to whmcs and I have been reading up as much as I can here on the forum. This may have been answered already but I can't find the answer I'm looking for. My clients will not be visiting my website and clicking on a hosting package. They will be talking to me over the phone or providing their credit card information in person. I will then manually add them as clients and create their orders for them. As a test run, I added a dummy client, provided a test credit card number, then added a new order on the orders page. I have paypal setup as the payment gateway btw.. Everything seemed to work except the payment part. The email I received said that I had to log in and make the payment. This is a big NONO... I need to be able to run the credit card and have the transaction occur as soon as the order is placed. Then have it rebill as per the package details. Can I do this with paypal? If not, can someone offer up a good payment processor that can? Am I doing this correctly? Thank you, Gene
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted September 16, 2011 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted September 16, 2011 You can disable the invoice notification email if you like. To disable it only upon placing the initial order that's possible under Setup > General Settings > Ordering tab. Or to disable it entirely navigate to Setup > Email Templates > Edit. You can't create recurring payments on behalf of clients with PayPal (they need to enter their PayPal login details), so your best bet is to use a Merchant Gateway: http://docs.whmcs.com/Payment_Gateways
