hypnotic_monkey
In the enom control panel auto renew is currently off as default. When a user clicks enable/disable auto renew in the whmcs control panel it doesnt update enom auto renew status. Should enom auto renew be on as default? i don't want to be renewing domains if users haven't paid. Thanks.
penguin
The auto renew with enom is just that - domains will be automatically renewed when they reach their expiry date. You don't want to be using that for selling services. The auto renew function on a domain just specifies if an invoice will be generated for the renewal in whmcs or not. With WHMCS auto renew enabled, an invoice is generated but the domain is only renewed once payment is received.
hypnotic_monkey
Nice one, thats how i thought it was but just wanted to confirm - couldn't find it in the documentation anywhere. cheers.
theman777
I have a simular question. Maybe you could help me with that to. In Enom i do have domains, wich i own by my self. So i don't actually have to pay with whmcs. Customers wich order a domain true whmcs, they have to pay, so do i have to set auto renew in enom on auto or off? And how about on whmcs? Cron Job is turned on. So i guess that would be it, write? I am still not clear with that.
penguin
You can either have them set to auto renew with Enom, or just set them as a zero price in WHMCS (for easy management of them too) and then they'll renew at the due date anyway without you having to pay anything

dyalit
On the client side domain auto renewal, My client’s are setting there domains to auto renewal. The problem with this is that they will auto renew without the client paying for them. I use Enom for my register. Is there a way to stop the client’s from setting there domain to auto renewal unless they have added funds to their account?
theman777
As i know, domains will not renew if there was no payment.
