LAZer414
hi , we have a product which is some how related to stock control. here is its details . we want to have a product with stock control , which when the customer pays for it , system send one product to him and reduces it from the whole stock available. the product to be delivered is a kind of username/password we want to have a database or text file in which we hold the available username/passwords , a product in each line of the text. and on the delivery system reduces it from that sql / text file as a quantity control some how. can whmcs stock control do this by default? or we must write a special module for it ? guide me about this . ( now i`m thinking that it mustn`t be a hard work to write such module which i explained ) just tell me whether i can use whmcs by default for such purpose or start writing a module for it ?
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted August 23, 2011 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted August 23, 2011 WHMCS already has the built-in stock control options you describe. However you will need to write a module to handle this pre-defined list of usernames/passwords and sending them to customers.
LAZer414
the stock contro that i found is the number of accounts available and whmcs reduces the number we set in the product setup when it delivers one account to the user. so is there any other usage of the stock control in whmcs ? or its just a count function ?
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted August 23, 2011 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted August 23, 2011 When a product is cancelled that stock is automatically returned. Also when a product is out of stock clients can no longer order it until more stock is available. What other functionality would you require?
