Odd Existing Client Checkout Issue

I'm using the Modern Template and I'm having an issue with the Existing Client form on the checkout.

 

When I click the "Existing Client" tab which displays the "Email" and "Password" fields as expected. Although when I input valid client information (valid email / password), it does nothing, just sits there. I'm not sure if it's working as intended or if I broke something, but would it be possible that once the client inputs a Email and Password it logs the client in and loads their customer information. Otherwise it seems very odd to have it just sit there, doesn't seen to be working as a customer might expect.

It seems I managed to somehow remove a segment of code through the process of customization, all is fixed now. Thank you for your reply :)

 

Although I noticed that when an invalid username/password of an existing customer is used, an error isn't displayed. I just tested this on your checkout and I noticed that it also doesn't display an error. Is there a way to display a message if the inputted username / password is incorrect?
