seboraid
Hi ! I dont understand how an upgrade in my WHMCS was performed. One of my clients buyed a hosting plan on Oct 1, 2010 for 30 USD annually. The due date was set to Sept 30, 2011. My client paid twice so I add them a credit from 30 USD. Today Aug 18, 2011 my client upgrades his hosting plan to an 70 USD annualy. In the documentation it says that the amount ot pay is calculated this way : Old PackagePrice per day * Number of days until next due date = Amount credited New Package Price per day * Number of days until next due date = Amount debited Amount debited - Amount credited = Total payable today The system says that the amount to pay is : 29.51 USD ???? I think it should be : USD 30 / 365 days = 0.08 USD daily (old package) Days left = 45 days 0.08 USD * 45 d = 3.60 USD (credited) USD 70 / 365 days = 0.19 USD daily (new package) 0.19 USD * 45 d = 8.55 USD (must pay) So the client has to pay 8.55 USD - 3.60 USD = 4.95 USD Thats not all. The due date changed to Sep 3, 2012 !! The Invoice from 29.51 USD was debited from the clients credits and now he is upgraded and paid nothing, and has 1 year more of service.??
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted August 17, 2011 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted August 17, 2011 The Next Due Date is never changed by the upgrade process, so a member of staff must be changing things which is causing your confusion.
