WHCMS Billing Question

johnwho

Question

Hi All,

I would like to use WHCMS to billed SEO clients on our future SEO business site. Usually my partner said that we will billed credit cards.

So first question is, does WHCMS has a built in credit card verification program or will it provide us info if it successfully charge the client's credit card?

Second, what are the options on the transfer of funds we gain in WHCMS? Direct deposit to our Paypal account or bank account?

3rd, we will only use it to billed clients, and but we won't provide them with log in details on client area. We will only send them a simple invoice copy.

Can WHCMS do this? Thanks for reading

edit: sorry for the wrong spelling..

WHMCS can be used with an external payment gateway to process credit cards. WHMCS has partnerships with company's like maxmind to prevent fraud on your site. These company's generally verify client information when they sign up for a product. This does not mean that you are completely safe from people using unverified cards. There really is not a way to prevent that from happening 100%.

For your use, unless you want a client management software, I would suggest just manually charging credit cards through your gateway and sending them an invoice you can write up in word.

WHMCS will require your clients to sign up in order to process their orders. This means client details are provided automatically to your clients which in reality is not a bad thing. Personally if I was your customer I would like access to my invoices through some sort of online portal.

There are plenty of gateways you can use with WHMCS. It's really hard to recommend one as you may need a specialty one dedicated to service in your country. A lot of payment gateways only work if you have a bank account in certain countries.

Thanks for the reply.

We plan to use Paypal as your payment gateway. Our main goal is to use a system to organize things up. We expect to get 50+ clients in a month so manually doing this would need alot of time.

Our hired admin will take care of the sign up process for each client and he/she will be the one who will be responsible for charging clients credit card via WHMCS.

Can we do this?

Thanks

Using PayPal WHMCS will generate the invoices and the client simply click the "PayPal" button on the invoice to fill in their account details and send payment. WHMCS will record the payment automatically.

Then to actually get at your funds you'll need to transfer them out of your PayPal account.

What will happen is that all of the Credit Card information of our customers are already with us. They have authorized us to charge their Credit Cards. Will it be possible for us to charge those cards without our customers logging in online?

With PayPal Pro yes, not with regular PayPal.

Thanks for your response. Would you suggest PayPal pro as the best option or can you suggest few good ones? I have found some post on webhostingtalk that said, real merchant account is advisable than the PP pro.

What's your company's url? I have been getting a few people looking at seo work, as I don't have time to do it, I could refer you some clients, or what's your email address/msn?

Hey dude, thanks for the interesting. If you want to check out my site. Just go to my profile. Won't post my URL here because I respect the rules. thanks
