tohms
Hi folks, As support seems to be quite busy right now, I'll ask my question here, too. Maybe someone knows what happened. I tried to upgrade to 4.5 as stated in release notes. After copying the files I've went to my site, but now it complains about the install folder and upgrade does not happen. If I rename the install folder (for testing purpose) my site won't start at all (blank page). Did anyone have similar issues and knows a way how I can get the upgrade to work? Regards, Thomas

WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted May 27, 2011 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted May 27, 2011 In what way is it complaining about the install folder exactly?
tommyinnn
same issue here, same method used as all other upgrades in the past couple years.
SilverNodashi
sounds like the upload didn't work properly. The best way to upload WHMCS is to create a ZIP file of the WHMCS folder (after you extracted it, removed the logo.jpg file, applied mods, etc) and then unzip the ZIP file directly on the server
tohms
Sorry for late answering, but am very busy. SoftDux is right. I uploaded the whole archive and extracted it. That way it worked.
