SteveINtheUKok
If I have a 500GB server and I have 100 users, then 500/100 = 5GB of space each. However each user may only use a fraction of that, maybe 512MB-1GB, this means I could offer users 50GB each, most would not need it, some would, the average would be within my servers disk space limit. This is the way most pro hosting sites work is it not? I am able to upgrade my disk space if I needed to, if more people used more space, I just want to reap the benefits of most users NOT using the full space allocated to them. Currently, out of the box, WHMCS does not allow that, it allocates the space a user has purchased, now that is all very nice but is it possible to run the system in the way I want to with WHMCS? Also what would I need to do, to allow it to let me add more users as I want to?
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted May 19, 2011 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted May 19, 2011 It's down to your server control panel whether or not overselling is possible.
