sniperscope
Dear WHMCS I am very new on hosting business. Soon my hosting company will start up and i have no idea how can i sell domain names + hosting plans together. When a customer want to register domain and also want to purchase hosting which steps do i have to follow? I read your tutorials and figured out that there is settings for domain registrar. I am going to use opensrs. So, if i customer pick a domain and also hosting plan and hit the submit button. is WHMCS follows those steps? 1 - WHMCS check for domain prices which i configure in settings area. 2 - Check for availability in domain registrar. 3 - Ff it is okay then... 4 - Use payment gateway which i set up gateway for transfer amount. 5 - Check for server machines and assign purchased domain into available server. 6 - Create place for it and copy necessary files into there. 7 - Send account information to customer. Is this correct? If not, could you please explain me step by step operation. My hosting company is almost ready to run but i have no idea what do i have to do...

mojahed
sniperscope , if you don't have any experience with the hosting bussines then you must to have an employees & staff to manage your servers, help your customers in solving any problem. or you can order a managed server from any provider

gr2
preferably directly from a datacenter rather from any provider. it would be wise to do your research and ping the network's latency to your location. also go for a dedicated system if it fits your budget. this might help narrow down your provider options. hope it helps.
