atlantishd
Hello, I was wondering if there is a UK Reg Domain Registrar add on. I have used them for years and would like to continue. If not I would assume that I can use the email function to email myself and manualy purchase the domains ? Thanks Tim
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted May 17, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted May 17, 2007 Do they even offer an API to interface with their servers? I seem to remember looking but not being able to find one. Matt
Harrison
Nope, and their control panel is terrible.
atlantishd
I agree thier control panel is very poor, I use them because they are low cost and pay as you use. Do you know of any that can be used with WHMCS that have no minimum buy, and are cheap Thanks
SpookedOut
I don't believe they have any API -- There control panel is 'sloppy' too

Matt Hi Matt, They do now, and the site is MUCH improved (I'm a Fan). Any chance of including them on Domain Registrar's List in the next update of WHMCS
daveb1
Another vote for including UKreg... Their API info can be found here http://www.fasthosts.co.uk/resellers/package/api/ Thanks
XN-Matt
It would be cheaper to become a Nominet member and tag holder for what they charge. Account setup & subscription Instant online activation Standard feature Free Monthly subscription £50 3 months free Annual subscription £500 (save £100) 3 months free Nominet FWIR is £450 for the first year and then £100 every year thereafter. Domains are £5.00 All exvat.
othellotech
Nominet membership will only get you (assuming you also have a TAG) .uk's at the registry price. Nominet dont supply *hosting reseller accounts* which is what you'd get for your £50 from FH. The UKReg system has long been the best bit of FastHosts, but there are much much better domain resellers to get a sub-reseller account from IME.
daveb1
there are much much better domain resellers to get a sub-reseller account from IME. Could you elaborate please? I've been with FH/UKreg for .co.uk domains (and enom for .coms) for years now, but if there's anyone better, I'd be happy to swap. Cheers Dave

Domains are £5.00 All exvat. All which has nothing to do with requesting a UKREG Registrar Module for WHMCS. I have used UKREG for years, simply to register UK domains, there is as far as I am aware no charge for this, apart from the cost of registering the domains at appx £7 for two years (inc VAT). The quote above is for a Hosting Reseller Account from FASTHOSTS.
