ckh
I installed whmcs, imported all of my clients, etc from another script and ran out of time to play around with it. This morning at 9 am, I started getting suspension emails. I failed to change the default configuration of automatic suspension and it suspended about 500 hosting accounts. Oops. I would suggest that automatic suspension would be off as a default along with anything else that would send out emails, cancel accounts, etc.
bear
Good grief, that must have been a bit of a shock... Pretty sure it was off in mine when I first installed it, but I'm not positive now. It's usually a really good idea when trialing something that you don't set up the cron jobs until you're certain you have things set up correctly.
ckh
Yes it was a shock but fortunately I was sitting here when the emails started coming in and as far as I know only one customer noticed. Sad thing is that I saw that configuration setting, unchecked it and must have got sidetracked and didn't save the setting....
bear
You're not alone. Moved this to feedback so it gets noticed a bit easier.
