WHMCS Slider 1.0 (VPS / Cloud Hosting Slider Order Form)

Recommended Posts

Give your website a professional look with the WHMCS Slider Order Form.

The WHMCS Slider comes pre-configured to sell VPS or Cloud Hosting but can also be configured to sell any type of product or service. Choose your RAM, hard disk space and virtual processor amounts using sliders. Style it to match your website by editing the CSS or completely customize the HTML and CSS for a unique look.

It can be used inside or outside the WHMCS root directory and is compatible with any content management system (CMS) such as Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, etc. It uses the WHMCS built-in API and Configurable Option Groups and it does not need any other addons to function.

Auto provisioning is supported and possible with the addition of a provisioning module that supports a VPS. (This does not come included.) If auto provisioning is a must for you, there are a few 3rd party VPS provisioning modules available on the WHMCS Community Addons page in the Provisioning Modules Section.

Thank you scurrell for pointing out the incorrect link in the footer of whmcsslider.com to purchase the Slider. That has been corrected. The correct direct product link is actually

expandmind would you mind posting a screen shot of what you see in Safari? Quite a bit of the development on this Slider was done on Mac OSX.

We have thoroughly tested it in Safari and do not see any errors. It even looks and works great on an iPad. Try resetting Safari to clear your cache. This may fix the display issue you are having.

Thank you

It comes with the template (skin) you see in the demo. You can modify it to match the style of your template or use it just the way it is. With just a few css and image mods, it can match any template very well. Here is another example of the slider with just a couple small changes to the css and three images.

Is there functionality in this to add more options to the slider?

Such as the default OS template, SSL Certs etc...

We are building a sub branch to our VPS options, which would rely solely on a slider solution.

We intend on building our own, but if this can easily scale up the options available, we may aswell just buy this.

Also, is the source code available, or is it encoded?

TIA

Sorry for such a delayed response. We were accidentally not monitoring this thread.

Template OS selection will be included with the next version of the slider by default in a drop just like the ip address selection. This will be released the same time as WHMCS 4.5.

The latest version of the WHMCS Slider submits the order to the default whmcs order form of your choice instead of a custom one. On the order / sign up page you can make these changes here for OS selection or SSL's or anything you choose.

To see an example, submit an order from here http://www.whmcsslider.com/demo.php

On the order conformation / sign up page you will see the OS selection.

There are 2 files that are encoded to protect our work and license our product.

This is a good question. We host our own servers and do not have a vpsnet account so we have never had a chance to test it.

It seems after reading around the vpsnet forum that there are actually 2 versions of this module. One that WHMCS released themselves and one that vpsnet released.

If you have a development area and would not mind giving us access to it, we would be happy to install the slider and test it. Which version of this module are you using?

how does this module work for shared hosting account, in terms of "upgrades"?

i. a client orders a cPanel shared hosting account with day 500MB storage, now wants to upgrade to 1GB - does the upgrade automatically take place?

And what about bandwidth overusage on VPS? i.e. a VPS client orders a VPS with 500GB bandwidth, but uses 600GB - does he automatically get billed for the extra 100GB? Now, he upgrades to say 700GB, is that automated as well?
