What does the domain resync script do?

After importing hundreds of domains from AWBS -> WHMCS for my clients i found all the domains to be set to ACTIVE even though many have expired.

So i ran this script.

php -q /home/efast/domains/xxxx.com/public_html/whmcs/modules/registrars/resellerclub/resellerclubsync.php

Low an behold. Other than getting a report of what was updated and what was not updated none of the existing domains that have expired were actually set to expired in WHMCS. They still show active.

I thought that this cron job actually checked the domains at resellerclub to determine what the expiry date was and it would update WHMCS domains to reflect the same.

So i have to go though every clients domain and manually set expired domains to EXPIRED? Thats alot of work. I mean geez, why cant WHMCS do that?

Howcome expired domains are still showing GREEN instead of RED? Cant WHMCS determine that its past the date?

The sync script just updates the expiry date, it doesn't change the status, that'd need to be done manually. The highlight colour on the domains page is based upon the status.

If the domain status wasn't imported correctly please open a ticket with a copy of the domain table from AWBS so we can take a look at the importer.
